The NIKE Extravaganza is the premier high school basketball event in Southern California. Nike Extravaganza XIV will take place on Friday, February 6, 2009 and Saturday, February 7, 2009 at the Meruelo Athletic Center. The best high school basketball facility in the United States features 3,500 seats, Daktronics video scoreboards, scorer’s tables, live feeds of the games and advertisements throughout the arena. It is the perfect site to see some of America’s top-tier high school basketball programs and athletes who, for the past 14 years, have come to Orange County to participate in the NIKE Extravaganza.

MATER DEI HIGH SCHOOL, the most successful high school basketball
program in California, joins with NIKE, the world’s most recognized brand for sports and fitness apparel, to host the event.
